I went to a couple of gay bars in Sacramento for mellis333's 21st birthday last night. Had a blast, want to go back. Even our designated driver had fun. XD One of the clubs we went to had a pool. A POOL. (They close it on the weekends 'cause it becomes a liability, lol.)

The bartender at the pool club made Maa-chan a drink similar to a Sex On The Beach called Sand In Your Ass "because that's what happens after you have sex on a beach." Good times. Another friend recommended that I get a Malibu and Pineapple and HOMG I THINK I'M IN LOVE. I had, like, six of those things. THEY TASTE LIKE JUICE. DELICIOUS, DELICIOUS JUICE. We went to another bar because it was buy one drink, get one free night or something and everyone (including the freaking adorable bartender) laughed at me because I drank one of my Malibu and Pineapple's before they had even drunk half of their drinks. To be fair, M&P's aren't very strong and they're delicious.

Bartender: "I can see that you're trying really hard not to drink that one as fast. XD"
Me: "Haha, yeeeah."

Then I actually danced. I'm so proud of myself. Everyone looks kind of stupid when they dance to club music, so at least I wasn't alone. Kekeke...

It's really nice to be surrounded by people who you know are cool. I'm a small town girl, I'm not used to living amongst social acceptance.

Oh! And we all managed not to get sick. Go us! And Happy birthday again, Maa-chan!
