I quite like it. :) I'm sure I'll love it after a few more listens. Gaga's music has this weird way of growing on people, doesn't it? I've only ever immediately liked Poker Face, Teeth, and Dirty Rich. The rest had to grow on me.

FRIEND KAT: "I suddenly realized the other day that I like Gaga. And not only do I like her music, but I'm kind of obsessed. I was listening to Bad Romance on repeat and I thought, Wait, why am I listening to this? Why do I even have this song?!! and the epiphany struck." XD

People have been comparing Gaga to Madonna since she got popular, which is totally fine and justifiable, but now some are saying that she's ripping off Madonna's Express Yourself. This irks me for a number of reasons:

1) Gaga and Madonna may sing about similar things, in these two songs and otherwise, but Gaga's and Madonna's styles are unique to themselves.
2) BORN THIS WAY AND EXPRESS YOURSELF SOUND NOTHING ALIKE.
3) As far as I'm concerned, there can never be enough songs about female/people-who-are-different empowerment.
